Mammootty’s One to be shot in Kerala Legislative Assembly for the first time in history!
Shoot for Mammootty’s ‘One’ is progressing at a brisk pace. The film is directed by Santhosh Viswanath of ‘Chirakodinja Kinavukal’ fame and scripted by Bobby-Sanjay. This political drama has Mammootty playing a Chief Minister’s role in the film. It is being produced by Ichais Productions.
‘One’ is majorly shot in the State capital, Trivandrum. For the last few weeks, the makers have been shooting in and around the major political destinations. Recently, they acquired permission to shoot some crucial portions in the old complex of Kerala Legislative Assembly. This is said to be the first time that the complex is being opened for film shooting.
While Mammootty plays the Chief Minister, ‘One’ has Murali Gopy and Joju George in prominent roles as opposition leader and party secretary respectively. The film also has a big supporting cast comprising of Nimisha Sajayan, Ranjith, Mathew Thomas, Gayathri Arun, Balachandra Menon, Sudev Nair, Suresh Krishna, Salim Kumar, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Alencier Ley Lopez, Mamukoya, Balaji Sharma and many others.
