Mammootty’s Street Lights all set to hit screens tomorrow; Here’s the theater list!
Mammootty’s first outing of the year, Street Lights, is all set to hit screens tomorrow (January 26). The movie marks the directorial debut of noted cinematographer Shamdat Sainudeen. Street Lights is releasing in 113 centres across the state. It is also simultaneously releasing in around 60 screens in the UAE.
Scripted by newcomer Fawaz Muhammed, Street Lights is about a set of events that happen in the course of a single day. Mammootty plays the role of an investigating officer in the movie. As per the makers, the movie will be an entertaining thriller that appeals to all kinds audience. The movie will have equal dose of action, thrill, humour, romance and songs.
Street Lights was shot as a bilingual in Malayalam and Tamil. Since it was shot separately in two languages, it has different set of actors for each version. The Malayalam version stars Joy Mathew, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Hareesh Kanaran, Neena Kurup, Lijomol Jose, Sohan Seenulal, Indrans, Soubin Shahir and Sudhi Koppa among others.
Veteran actor Pandiarajan, his son Prithvi Rajan, Manobala, Black Pandi, Stunt Silva, Motta Rajendran and some other noted supporting actors feature in the Tamil version. The movie doesn’t have a heroine as such, as it is a tale of many characters. The Tamil version’s release date has not yet been announced.
Debutant Adarsh Abraham is composing the songs while Yakzan Pereira and Neha Nair are handling the background score in the movie. Mammootty himself is producing the film under his banner Play House Motion Picture Pvt Ltd.
