Manima Mohan who has made her debut as a heroine in mollywood through the film named Oru Vadakkan Selfie is now running high after the success of that flick. Oru Cadakkan Selfie has got a blockbuster success at box office and that gave a great mileage to every actors in that film including Manjima Mohan and she is now on the way to kollywood with a big film. Yes it is very big indeed as Manjima is said to be the heroine of Tamil Young star Simbu and the director of that flick will be none other the master director in South India Mr. Gautham Vasudev Menon.
Manjima was quite popular among malayalees even before she had made her debut as a heroine as she had acted in many Malayalam films as a child artist and many of them were popular hits here. Films like Priyam, Mayil Peelikaavu etc are the ones which Manjima acted when she was a child artist and she had won state award as well for her performance in the film named Madhura Nombara Kaattu. She had a film connection through her father as her father is one of the most popular cinematographer of mollywood and his name is Vipin Mohan.
Manjima Said that Gautham Menon had not seen Oru Vadakkan Selfie till now but his associates saw the film and recommended her name to him as the heroine who has been selected before named Pallavi Subhash was withdrawn from the flick. The flick was titled as Acham Enpathu Madayameda and Manjima will be female lead in its Telugu version as well with Naga Chaithanya (Son of Nagarjuna) will play the male lead opposite her. Manjima said that even though she does not know Tamil language to the extent of speaking fluently she can understand it when someone speaks that language to her.
Manjima is so happy to work with this big team in her second film as heroine and the funny thing is that Gautham Menon’s name comes as a reference in the film named Oru Vadakkan Selfie by the male lead Nivin Pauly. His character want to be an assistant director to Guatham Menon in that film and in real life Manjima who got that chance to work with him.
