Manoj K Jayan as Pranav Mohanlal’s father in Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu?
Shoot for Pranav Mohanlal’s upcoming movie Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu kick started last day in Kanjirapally. The movie is being written and directed by Arun Gopy of ‘Ramaleela’ fame. Tomichan Mulakupadam is producing the movie under his banner Mulakupadam Films. A couple of stills from the movie’s location have been doing the rounds in social medias.
Pranav is seen sporting a new look in these location stills. As per latest reports, veteran actor Manoj K Jayan has been signed to play the role of Pranav’s father in the movie. Unarguably one of the finest actors in Malayalam cinema, Manoj K Jayan has been doing a very less number of movies lately. If reports are to be believed, he has a prominent role to play in Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu and he will definitely be trying to make it a memorable outing.
Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu is touted to be an action packed adventure thriller with a complete commercial packaging. Though the movie’s title is a slight cue to Mohanlal’s yesteryear superhit film Irumpatham Noottaandu, the makers have confirmed that it is not a sequel. A debutante will be seen as Pranav’s pair in the movie. Other details about the support cast have not yet been revealed.
In the technical front, Abinandan Ramanjunam will be cranking the camera and Gopi Sunder will be handling the music department. Peter Hein, one of India’s most wanted action choreographers, has been roped in for the movie. Editor Vivek Harshan, sound designer Renganaath Ravee and art director Joseph Nellickal are also part of the team.
