Megastar Mammootty as Sakhavu Alex in Parole!
Last day, the first look poster of Mammootty starrer Parole was released online. Ever since then, it has been trending virally in social medias. Mammootty’s intense look and the flag bearing activists in the background have piqued the curiosity among the netizens. Parole marks the directorial debut of ad filmmaker Sharrath Sandith.
As per reliable sources, Mammootty is playing the role of a left supporting comrade in the movie. His character’s name is Sakhavu Alex. Nothing much is known about the film except the fact that it is inspired by some real life incidents. This secrecy itself has raised the expectations.
Mammootty, as we all know, is a left supporting person in real life. He has played simialr roles in earlier films like Ormakalundayirikkanam, Ee Naadu, Adimakal Udamakal etc. Fans will be very much excited to see Mammootty portray a powerful communist leader’s role after all these years. Parole’s shoot has already been completed and the team is currently busy with the post production.
The movie, scripted by Ajith Poojappura is said to be a family drama cum thriller. Ineya and Miya George will be seen in prominent roles in the movie. While Ineya plays Mammootty’s wife, Miya will be seen in his sister’s role. Telugu actor Prabhakar is also playing a prominent part in Parole. He is popular for his role as the Kalakeya king in SS Rajamouli’s action epic drama Baahubali: The Beginning. Siddique and Suraj Venjaramoodu are also part of the supporting cast.
Parole is being produced by Antony D’Cruz Entertainment. An official announcement regarding the release date is expected to be made soon.
