Mohanlal’s Next Film Gains Momentum with Music Sensation Hesham Abdul Vahab on Board
Superstar Mohanlal’s upcoming project, directed by Anoop Menon, has added another layer of excitement with the announcement of music director Hesham Abdul Vahab joining the crew. Known for his exceptional work in films like Hridayam (2022) and Telugu hits Kushi (2023) and Hi Nanna (2023), Hesham brings a fresh perspective to the film’s musical landscape. Expressing his enthusiasm, Hesham stated to Cinema Express, “It’s too early to reveal much about the film, but I’m thrilled about the creative possibilities. We’re looking at a comprehensive exploration of Indian music, requiring extensive preparation over the next six months.”
This collaboration marks Hesham’s first venture with Anoop Menon as a music director, although he previously worked with Mohanlal on a music video for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, directed by TK Rajeev Kumar. Reflecting on his opportunity to collaborate with Mohanlal in a feature film, Hesham added, “Working on Lal sir’s film is a dream come true moment, and I’m eager to deliver my best.”
Mohanlal, currently engaged in filming Hridayapoorvam with director Sathyan Anthikad, is set for the release of the highly anticipated Empuraan in March and Thudarum directed by Tharun Moorthy in May. With Hesham Abdul Vahab onboard, expectations are high for this new project, promising an enriching cinematic experience for audiences eagerly awaiting its release.
