Mohanlal’s Odiyan to be a magical realistic flick!

Mohanlal as informed earlier would be teaming up with VA Shrikumar before the big budget Hindu epic The Mahabharata for a 3D movie Odiyan. The movie said to be filmed by the end of this year is set to be shot in the 1950 – 1990 time period. Mohanlal after filming the Lal Jose- Benny P Nayarambalam campus flick would join the sets.

The crew has now given out an info on the movie that it is a magical realistic flick. The movie would present an unique experience to all the audience. It describes the story of the Odiyans, who had lived in Kerala during the 20th century doing all kinds of black magic; the rituals they had performed was called the Odi Vidya.

The movie is funded by Antony Perumbavoor under his production house Aashirvad Cinemas. It is one among the five movies they are funding within the next two years. More details on the cast and crew of the movie would be out soon.
