National award winning Tamil filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy heaps praise on And The Oskar Goes To

Tovino’s ‘And The Oskar Goes To’ (ATOGT) has entered its third week of theatrical run in the Kerala box office. The movie continues to do pretty good business courtesy the positive word of mouth. Besides the common audience, even celebrities like Basil Joseph, Ranjith Sankar, Madhupal and Shahabaz Aman had showered good words on the movie and its makers.

Recently, National award winning Tamil filmmaker Shahabaz Aman got to watch the movie and was highly impressed by it. In a brief tweet, he called it a brilliant and soul stirring film. He also congratulated the team for the success.

‘And The Oskar Goe To’ directed by Salim Ahamed tells the story of a film taking its maker to the Oscars. It is one of those films that is instantly relatable to the all those who have a passion for the art of filmmaking. Salim Ahamed scripted the movie partly based on his own experiences and some other real life filmmakers. Unlike his earlier films, ‘ATOGT’ has a more commercial touch to it, major credits of which should rightfully go to its charming lead actor, Tovino Thomas. His performance in the movie has been rated by many as one of his career best.
