Nayanthara enters direction!
Nayanthara is undoubtedly one of the stylish actresses at present in the Tamil industry. She had gone a great distance and have conquered many a miles right from her first flick with Sathyan Anthikad’s Manasinakkare in Malayalam to her latest release. Born and brought up in Kerala she stands one among the leading actresses that our industry has ever produced and is rightly called Lady Superstar.
The latest news coming proves that she has now also placed her foot in direction apart from acting. Though earlier she had both acted and worked with technicians behind the camera, this is the first time she is officially getting into business. Debutant director Gopi Nainar’s Aram is progressing shooting.
Nayanthara is said playing the role of a district collector who comes handy to help a village hit by intense drought. It was then the actress thought to help the newbie with a bit of her direction skills. And had tried her hand as an assistant director, for the first time, in the flick. Apparently, the unit in the sets were so impressed by her meticulous work and had said that she is not a star like others who rushes to the caravan soon after their shot has completed.
Aram is a social drama boosting Nayanthara’s stardom to it’s best. Kotapadi J Rajesh funds this flick under his production company KJR Studios. Om Prakash cranks the camera and Gopi Krishna is the editor in charge. The Ghibran musical awaits a release date.
