Nayanthara’s strict no to skin show
Nayanthara often called as the lady superstar is having a slew of projects in her kitty. The actress has made a conscious effort to star in movies with equal importance for the female characters also.
Recently when approached for a glamorous role by a director, Nayanthara made a bold statement. She has asked filmmakers only to approach her with well sketched character roles and not for skin show. The actress was once a glamour icon of the south. But of late, she has stayed away from any such roles.
The actress had two releases this year, Irumugan and Kashmora. Her action oriented performance in Vikram starrer Irumugan was appreciated by the critics and the audience alike. In Karthi’s Kashmora, Nayanthara played a brief role of a princess.
The actress has signed for many female oriented movies like Dora, an horror thriller, Imaikka Nodigal with Atharvaa Murali. Nayanthara will also be a part of Mohan Raja’s upcoming multi starrer that has Sivakarthikeyan, Fahadh Fazil and Sneha as part of the cast.
Two new movies of her were officially announced last week on her birthday. Chakri Toleti’s Kolaiyathir Kalam will be based on a book written by famous writer Sujatha Rangarajan. She will also be seen as a district collector in Aramm directed by Gopi Nainaar.
