Nivin Pauly’s next Tamil film is a romantic entertainer
Nivin Pauly’s debut Tamil film Richie is yet to hit screens but the actor has already signed for two other projects in the language. As reported by us earlier, his next Tamil film would be directed by Prabhu Radhakrishnan and produced by 24 AM Studios.
The movie was launched very recently and it was announced that ace cinematographer PC Sreeram would be cranking the camera. RD Raja of 24 AM Studios has written the this movie, which reportedly is a romantic tale. As per reports, this untitled movie is a romantic entertainer and would be shot in Chennai and some rural areas of Tamil Nadu.
Nivin’s debut Tamil film Richie is the official remake of Kannada superhit movie Ulidavaru Kandanthe and it features him in the role of a thug. With this Prabhu Radhakrishnan directorial, Nivin will be back to his favourite genre – romance. He became a popular face among the Tamil audience courtsey his roles as a lover boy in movies like Premam and Neram.
Director Prabhu Radhakrishnan is noted for his television show Kanaa Kaalum Kalangal. He had also directed the promo song ‘Sirikadhe’ in Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo. Shoot for the upcoming movie would kick-start by January end next year after Nivin wraps up his prior commitments.
He is currently shooting in Goa for Shyamaprasad’s Hey Jude, in which he is paired opposite Trisha, her debut film in Malayalam. His next release would be Premam fame Athaf Salim’s Njandukalde Naatil Oridavela, slated to hit screens for the Onam season.
