No more black money : Nayanthara and Anushka Shetty
Following the government’s demonetisation of higher denomination notes, film industries across the countries have been largely affected. Many movies have been postponed to release after change in the current situation. Shoot for many movies have also been stalled due to cash shortage, incurring huge losses for the producers.
Now, South India’s two of the most popular actresses Nayanthara and Anushka Shetty have said a strict no to black money. The actresses have asked producers to pay their remuneration only in white, after paying all necessary taxes.
Nayanthara is paid around 3-4 crores for a movie while Anushka Shetty is paid 2-2.5 crores. They are currently the most paid actresses in the South Indian film industry.
Apparently, the actresses have taken this precaution to avoid any unwanted trouble in the future. Many producers are now in a spot of bother after this new demand put forward by the two lead actresses.
Nayanthara has Currently signed for a slew of projects. Some of her upcoming projects are Dora, Imaikka Nodigal, Aramm and Kolaiyuthir Kaalam.
Anushka Shetty’s upcoming movies are Suriya starrer Singam 3, magnum opus Baahubali 2 : The Conclusion, Om Namo Venkatesaya with Nagarjuna and Bhagmati with Aadhi in the lead.
