Official: Kunchacko Boban to team up with ‘Guppy’ fame John Paul
Malayalam cinema’s chocolate hero Kunchacko Boban is celebrating his birthday today. Wishes are pouring in for the star from his fans and colleagues in social medias. On his birthday, the actor has made two big announcements. He has signed for new movies with promising young filmmakers Soubin Shahir and John Paul George. John Paul George’s debut film ‘Guppy’ was a commercial failure but became an audience favourite soon after its DVD release. The director is currently working on ‘Ambili’, a travel film starring Soubin Shahir in the lead role. It also has Nazriya Nazim’s younger brother Naveen Nazim and newcomer Tanvi Ram in major roles. John Paul is most likely to start works for Kunchacko Boban only after finishing ‘Ambili’.
Of late, Kunchacko Boban has been doing a lot of similar roles. It will be refreshing to see him collaborate with new-age filmmakers like Soubin and John Paul. The actor also has Lal Jose’s ‘Thattumpurath Achuthan’ and debutant Bilahari’s ‘Allu Ramendran’ coming up.
