“Playing a Communist role was my deepest desire” says Nivin Pauly
Nivin Pauly’s Sakhavu is continuing it’s successful opening run in theaters. The flick runs in house full shows all over the state. The movie is bankrolled by B Rakesh under Universal Cinemas is visualised by National Award winner Siddharth Shiva. Nivin had come up with this political drama after a long gap of one year.
Nivin had recently opened his mind on acting a communism support role to a portal. He said “From the time I had entered cinema I desired to play a communist role. Though I had heard some stories earlier, they were only filled with revolutionary idealism. They only had the plan to fill in red blood and red flags throughout the movies”
“I had the opportunity to portray many roles at a same time in Sakhavu. A good father, friend, politician, protester roles were evident throughout my character. I had confidently signed the movie only because of the director Siddharth Shiva’s storytelling ability. The most important factor that had attracted me to the film was the two phases shown as a leader who believes in the real party idealism and another one who is an oppurtunitist who uphelds the name of the party in every need and destroy’s it” he said.
Sakhavu is not just a political drama, it has gives equal importance to romance, machismo and humour. Aparna Gopinath, Aishwarya Rajesh, Gayathri Suresh, Sreenivasan, Binu Pappu, Sudheesh, Althaf, Santhosh Keezhattoor and many others also play prominent roles.
