Popular mimicry artist Sagar Shiyas passes away
Popular mimicry artist and Mollywood actor Sagar Shiyas passed away today. He was 50 years old and was under the treatment for liver disease for last few days. He was in a private hospital at Chottanikkara at the time death and was admitted there 10 days back with severe liver disease.
He had become popular all over In Kerala through his mimicry programs and as a singer in parody cassettes. His unique voice gave him great popularity here and he had acted in many Mollywood films as well. His mimicry act as Super Rajinikanth was quite popular all over Kerala. He was a great fan of the super star as well.
He is a native of Muvattupuzha and the films which made him quite popular are Majadikkuru, Kannadi kadavathu, Bangalore days, Junior Mandrake etc. He had acted in movies like Kalyana Unnikal, Pancha pandavar, Manickyan, Mayavi, Koottukar, Kohinoor, Amar Akbar Anthony etc.
Sagar Shiyas was active in mini screen too. He had acted in many Television comedy programs and came as guest in programs like Cinema Chirima in Mazhavil Manorama. He also worked as an anchor for many mimicry related programs in mini screen. 2016 is been a worst year for Mollywood as many people from the industry passed away this year. Last day, popular director Sasi Shankar also passed away.
