Pranav Mohanlal’s Aadhi storms the box office for the second week!
Pranav Mohanlal’s much awaited debut movie as lead actor, Aadhi was released last Friday (January 26). The movie was opened to overwhelming response from the Malayali audience. It had a never before seen kind of opening for a newcomer’s movie, thanks to the tag of Mohanlal’s son. But, with his spectacular performance Pranav has proved that he is not just another star kid, but a promising actor who is here to stay.
As Aadhi enters the second successful week of theatrical run, it continues to run to packed house in all major centres across Kerala. Almost all the shows in Kochi multiplexes are housefull for this weekend. This Jeethu Joseph directorial is an action packed entertainer. Pranav’s Parkour stunts is easily the movie’s standout element.
Aadhi is the current talk in social medias. Seems like the viewers just can’t stop raving about Pranav’s stellar performance in the action sequences. The youngster has done some mind blowing stunts in the movie, some of them highly risky, without using any body double.
Audience, youth in particular, are thronging theaters in large numbers to watch Aadhi. The stylishly shot Parkour sequences choreographed by some renowned foreign stunt masters is the USP of Aadhi. Apart from Pranav, the movie also has some fine performances from Siju Wilson, Anusree, Sharafudheen, Siddique and Meghanathan.
Satheesh Kurup has cranked the camera and Ayoob Khan has handled the edits. The movie is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
