Puthan Panam release preponed to April 12
We had earlier reported that Megastar Mammootty’s much awaited movie Puthan Panam will be releasing on April 13. However, Abraham Mathew, one of the producers of the movie has informed us that they have preponed the release date by one day. Puthan Panam is now slated to hit screens all over Kerala on April 12.
The movie marks the reunion ace filmmaker Ranjith with Mammootty after a brief gap. The duo have earlier teamed up for some highly acclaimed movies and hence expectations are on the higher side for Puthan Panam.
Mammootty is playing the role of Nityananda Shenoy in the movie. The team had earlier released two teasers, two very contrasting promos with one featuring Mammootty with a gun and the other showed him sharing a lighter moment with a young boy. The actor will be using the Kasargod slang in the movie.
Puthan Panam will discuss about the financial situation and the black money circulation in the country. It will be a different perspective on director Ranjith’s National award winning movie Indian Rupee. The movie features Ineya and Sheelu Abraham as the female leads.
Siddique, Sai Kumar, Renji Panicker, Harish Kanaran, Mamukoya, Aanandam fame Vishak Nair, Ganapathy, Nirmal Palazhi and many others will be seen in supporting roles.
Kollywood cinematographer Om Prakash who has worked in movies like Maari and Kaashmora is cranking the camera while Shaan Rahman has composed the songs in the movie.
Puthan Panam is produced by 3 Color Cinemas, a new production company jointly owned by Abraham Mathew, director Ranjith and actor Arun Narayanan.
