PV Sindhu reveals that Dulquer Salmaan is her favourite Malayalam actor

Olympian PV Sindhu was recently in Kerala when she caught up with an interview for Malayalam radio channel, Club FM. During the casual chat, Sindhu revealed that she is a big fan of Telugu actors Mahesh Babu and Prabhas. When asked about her favorite actor from Malayalam, she said it’s Dulquer Salmaan as she had watched his movies ‘Bangalore Days’ and ‘OK Kanamani’. Though she finds it hard to understand the languages, she watches Malayalam movies with the help of subtitles.

PV Sindhu is the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal, and one of the two Indian badminton players to ever win an Olympic medal – the other being her fellow State mate, Saina Nehwal. Sindhu won silver in Women’s singles at Commonwealth Games 2018 . She was also a silver medalist at the 2017 and 2018 BWF World Championships consecutively. She was also a silver medalist in Asian Games 2018 and was also crowned as the champion of BWF world tour finals 2018.

Sindhu is now focusing on winning the Gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
