Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi’s Ramayana Locks Diwali Release in 2026 and 2027; First Poster Unveiled
The much-anticipated cinematic rendition of Ramayana, helmed by acclaimed director Nitesh Tiwari, has finally revealed its first poster, heightening excitement among fans. The two-part epic, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Ravan, and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, is set to release on two consecutive Diwalis: Part 1 on November 8, 2026, and Part 2 on October 28, 2027. This ambitious project also features Bollywood veterans such as Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Sheeba Chaddha as Manthara, promising a star-studded portrayal of the ancient tale.
Namit Malhotra of Prime Focus Studios, sharing his enthusiasm for the project, reflected on the decade-long journey to bring this vision to life. He expressed the team’s commitment to presenting an authentic, visually stunning adaptation of the revered epic. “We aim to create a version of Ramayana that resonates globally, combining sacredness with powerful storytelling,” he said.
