Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ Set to Cross the Enchanting 1000 Crore Club: Box Office Collection Report
Bollywood’s iconic King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, is currently rewriting his own records in the industry with the blockbuster movie “Jawan,” which continues to dominate the box office. Directed by Atlee, this mass masala entertainer hit theaters on September 7th of this year and has already surged past the 850 crore mark in global earnings.
According to the latest reports, “Jawan” is poised to break the magical 1000 crore milestone in its worldwide run, solidifying its place as the third Bollywood film and the second Shah Rukh Khan starrer to achieve this remarkable feat. Aamir Khan’s “Dangal,” which grossed over 2000 crores globally, holds the top position on this list, which also features South Indian blockbusters like “Bahubali 2,” “RRR,” and “KGF 2.”
The only other Hindi film in this exclusive club is Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan,” released in January of this year. With “Jawan” joining the 1000 crore club, Shah Rukh Khan will become the only star to achieve this milestone twice in a single year in the history of Indian cinema.
In “Jawan,” Shah Rukh Khan took on dual roles and also produced the film under his prestigious banner, Red Chillies Entertainments. The movie features Lady Superstar Nayanthara as the female lead and Vijay Sethupathi in the role of the antagonist. The sensational music by Anirudh Ravichander also played a significant role in the film’s resounding success.
