Shahrukh Khan to play the lead in the Theri Hindi remake !
Theri, the biggest hit in Kollywood this year starred by Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay is all set to remake in to Bollywood as per reports. As per earlier buzz, Bollywood Super Star Akshay Kumar shown interest in remaking this film to Hindi. Akshay Kumar had already remade Vijay starrer Thuppakki and he is also working on the remake of Vijay’s Kaththi. So, the reports suggested that Akshay Kumar may remake this film named Theri as well.
But the latest buzz from Bollywood says that Bollywood’s King Khan, Sharukh Khan is gearing up to play the lead in the Hindi version of Theri. As per reports, Rohit Shetty will once again direct Shahrukh Khan after Chennai Express and Dilwale. Rohit Shetty directorial Chennai Express was a super success at box office. But his second outing with Shahrukh named Dilwale had bombed at the box office.

If the reports coming in are true, then he is going to try his luck with King Khan for the 3rd time with Theri Hindi version. Theri was written and directed by Atlee in Tamil and it had raked in an amount around 200 crores from box office as well. The Film had become the biggest success of Vijay in his career till now.
Samantha and Amy Jackson played the female leads in the Tamil version. The Hindi version of the film will be released in 2018 and the official confirmation about this project has not yet come. Shahrukh Khan’s next release will be Raees and Vijay is working in his 60th film directed by Bharathan as well.
