Shamna Kasim getting married; Fiancé will be a North Indian
Popular South Indian actress/dancer Shamna Kasim, in a recent interview revealed about her wedding plans.
The actress said, “Recently my parents asked me about wedding plans, so I thought it’s time to settle down. There were many rumours in the social media pages about my wedding. Marriage is not a small deal, so I wanted my parents and elders to decide about it.
Eventhough I am not that good in Hindi, I would love to marry a North Indian. I have not taken a call on who the groom should be. There is still a lot of time left for that.
I will announce about the marriage to my fans directly and not through Facebook or Twitter. Once a decision is taken, the wedding will happen within two weeks.”
Shamna Kasim has been active in all the 4 South Indian industries for a long time now. She made her acting debut through the Malayalam movie, Manju Poloru Penkutty. Later she acted in supporting roles in movies like Pachakuthira, December, Ennitum, Hrudhayaththil Sookshikkan etc.
After failing to get better opportunities in Mollywood she moved onto other industries.She played her first major role in her debut Telugu film Sri Mahalakshmi. She debuted in Tamil cinema playing the female lead in Muniyandi Vilangial Moonramandu.
In Mollywood, she was last seen in Mili directed by late filmmaker Rajesh Pillai. She played a pivotal character in the movie along with Amala Paul.
Her next release is Savarakathi in Tamil. It is a woman centric movie written by Mysskin and directed by his brother G.R Adityan. Director Ram and Mysskin play major roles in this movie.
