Siva Karthikeyan is on the way to become a popular young star of Kollywood as his films gets great reception there and becoming a safe bet at box office. Now his latest film is ready for its release and the Mollywood actress Keerthy Suresh is playing the female lead opposite him in this upcoming film named Rajini Murugan which is directed by Ponram. The film is a comedy drama like the director’s debut film named Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam which was released in 2013. That film was a super success at box office starring Siva Karthikeyan and Sri Divya in lead roles.
This film Rajini Murugan has been bought by Vendhar Movies for 40 crores and all set to hit the big screens all over in this August. The film is also written by the director himself and financed by N.Linguswamy and N.Subhash Chandra Bose under their banner of Thiruppathi Brothers. Vendhar movies will distribute the film all over as well. The music of this film is composed by D Imman and the editor was the popular technician Vivek Harshan. Bala Subramaniam is the DOP of the film which had already raised a fair bit of expectation among the viewers with its trailer and songs.
Apart from the hero and heroine actors like Soori, Raj Kiran and Samuthirakani plays key roles in the film and Siva Karthikeyan- Soori combination is famous as well for their onscreen chemistry while doing comedy. Keerthy Suresh who had made her debut in Mollywood opposite the Complete Actor of Indian Cinema, Shri. Mohanlal through the Priyadarshan directorial film Geethanjali had later acted along with popular star of Mollywood Dileep in Rafi directorial film Ring Master as well. This will be her first Tamil release.
Keerthi Suresh has another Tamil release also coming up directed by AL Vijay starring Vikram Prabhu as the male lead. There is also a rumour going around about her that she was chosen as one of the female leads in Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film with Dulquer Salmaan and Karthi in the lead. But the news is not yet confirmed.
