Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo going strong in between the biggies
Last week saw a slew of releases in the theatres in Kerala. Mohanlal’s magnum opus Pulimurugan, Mammootty starrer Thoppil Joppan, Asif Ali starrer Kavi Udheshichathu were the Malayalam releases. Kollywood also had few releases last week in Remo, Rekka and Devi(l).
Remo starring Sivakarthikeyan is getting great response from Kerala audience even between all the other big releases. Remo has already had a tremendous opening in Tamil Nadu. The movie was the 3rd biggest opening day grosser in Kollywood for 2016, only behind Kabali and Theri.
Meanwhile audience are enjoying the movie in Kerala also with houseful shows in many centres during the Pooja holidays. Sivakarthikeyan enjoys good fan following in Kerala and the success of Remo is a testimony to that.
Most Sivakarthikeyan movies are clean entertainers with good dose of humour, songs and romance. Families have a liking towards such movies and they are the major reason behind the actor’s amazing growth in such short period.
In Kerala also the trend is similar and the actor is having a strong foothold in the box office with the support of families.
