SS Rajamouli reveals plans about his next film
SS Rajamouli has just delivered Baahubali: The Conclusion, the highest grossing movie in India. The movie smashed several pre-existing records and currently stands with a worldwide gross of around Rs 1680 cr. It is the second highest grossing Indian movie after Aamir Khan’s Dangal.
Audience across the country have been eagerly waiting to hear what next from Rajamouli. The director has finally revealed about his plans post Baahubali. While talking to a popular Telugu news channel, the director said that his next movie would not have VFX-orientation. Unlike his previous works, his upcoming movie will not involve much of visual effects, eventhough it is being conceived on a big scale.
When he was asked whether his next movie would be a small-budgeted film, Rajamouli replied, “No, It will not have orientation of VFX. Just because there won’t be visual effects, it doesn’t mean that it is going to be a small film. It can be a big-budget movie sans VFX.”
Apparently, the director had asked his father Vijayendra Prasad to write a story that has more stress on emotional core. Rajamouli believes that emotions have always been their strength. Apart from Maryada Ramanna and Eega, all his other movies including the Baahubali franchise is written by Vijayendra Prasad. Script works for the upcoming movie are currently progressing and more details regarding the project expected to be revealed in a few weeks time.
