Suraj Venjaramoodu to Portray Police Officer in Tovino Thomas’s ‘Narivetta’
Renowned actor Suraj Venjaramoodu has stepped into the role of Basheer Ahammed, a steadfast police officer, in the upcoming Malayalam film ‘Narivetta’. Directed by Anuraj Manohar, known for his work in the acclaimed film ‘Ishq’, ‘Narivetta’ promises to delve into the realm of political drama, drawing inspiration from real-life incidents. The character poster of Suraj Venjaramoodu, unveiled recently, captures him in uniform with a strikingly intense demeanor, hinting at his pivotal role in the narrative.
The film, marking the scripting debut of Abin Joseph, a Sahitya Akademi winner and accomplished short-story writer, also features Tamil actor-director Cheran in his maiden Malayalam venture. Alongside Suraj Venjaramoodu, the cast includes Arya Salim, Priyamvada Krishnan, and Rini Udayakumar. With music composed by Jakes Bejoy, cinematography by Vijay, and editing by Shameer Muhammed, ‘Narivetta’ is produced under the banner of Indian Film Company by Tippu Shan and Shiyas Hassan.

Apart from ‘Narivetta’, he is gearing up for the highly anticipated Malayalam blockbuster ‘L2: Empuraan’, starring alongside Mohanlal, and his Tamil debut in ‘Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2’, headlined by Vikram.
