Suriya 36 with Selvaraghavan
Suriya finished shooting for Singam 3 only recently. The movie is gearing up to release next month. The actor is all set to start to join his next film Thaanaa Serndha Koottam directed by Vignesh Shivan. The movie will go on floors officially tomorrow. Suriya is reportedly sporting a new look for the movie.
It was earlier announced that Suriya’s next after Thaanaa Serndha Koottam will be produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. The official announcement came on September 17th this year. There were many speculations about who will direct this movie.
Many big names were reported to helm this project but now the rumour mills can take rest because the makers have officially announced the director’s name. This much awaited project will be directed by one of the most brilliant filmmakers in Kollywood currently, Selvaraghavan.
The announcement has come in as a huge surprise among the Kollywood audience. Selvaraghavan is known for his realistic and hard-hitting style of narration. He has made many critically and commercially acclaimed movies Pudhupettai, Kadhal Konden, Mayakkam Enna and Aayirathil Oruvan.
It will be exciting to see Selvaraghavan directing a fine performer like Suriya. The genre, cast or other details regarding the movie has not yet been announced. Selvaraghavan’s upcoming release is Nenjam Marapathillai, a horror thriller starring SJ Suriya, Nanditha Shwetha and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles.
There were also reports that Selvaraghavan will be joining hands with Ilayathalapathy Vijay for his next movie after Atlee’s project. But no official word has been made regarding that.
