Suriya – Dulquer Salmaan to Share Screen in Sudha Kongara’s Suriya 43
The much-anticipated Suriya43 is officially on the horizon, and it’s set to be directed by none other than Sudha Kongara, the acclaimed filmmaker behind gems like “Irudhi Suttru” and “Soorarai Pottru”.
Tentatively titled “Suriya43,” this upcoming cinematic marvel boasts a star-studded ensemble featuring Suriya, Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Fahad, and Vijay Varma in lead roles. It marks the first time that Suriya and Dulquer Salmaan will grace the screen together, promising an exciting cinematic synergy.
Notably, Nazriya Fahad makes a grand return to Tamil cinema through this project. Adding to the excitement, the sensational GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in as the music composer, marking his 100th film.The production of this grand cinematic venture is a joint effort of 2D Entertainment and Meenakshi Cinemas, with shooting scheduled to commence in December.
Reports suggest that “Suriya43” will delve into a period drama, drawing inspiration from real-life incidents in Tamil Nadu. Sudha Kongara and Suriya, who previously collaborated on the critically acclaimed “Soorarai Pottru,” are set to recreate their magic on the silver screen once again. Suriya will complete his commitments on the epic movie “Kanguva,” directed by Siva, before joining Sudha’s project. Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan is engrossed in his Telugu film “Lucky Baskhar,” directed by Venky Atluri.
