Suriya is the second biggest in Kollywood after Rajinikanth: KE Gnanavel Raja
Suriya’s much anticipated Singam 3 aka Si3, third movie in the popular Singam franchise will be releasing on February 10. The team of Si3 have been promoting their movie visiting many centres in Tamil Nadu Kerala and the Telugu states.
The team recently organized a press where a lot of people from the cast and crew spoke about the movie. Producer K.E Gnanavel Raja apologised to Suriya’s fans for the repetitive postponements and delays in the movie’s release. Release date of Si3 got postponed to around 4-5 times due to reasons best known to the makers. The producer reassured that the film will satisfy the audience with it’s strong content and racy screenplay.
K.E Gnanavel Raja who owns the production house Studio Green is a close relative of Suriya. He has funded and distributed many movies of Suriya and his brother Karthi. During the press meet he sounded very confident and claimed that the Hari directorial will surely rock. He said that Suriya has the second biggest market business wise in Kollywood after Rajinikanth and his Telugu market is also extraordinary.
Suriya has a huge fan base in Andhra and Telangana where the Telugu dubbed version will release. He added that Si3 will be a sure shot success and there is no stopping the movie. However he refused to disclose numbers related to the business but he assured that Suriya’s Si3 will be a profitable venture for all the distributors and theatre owners. KE Gnanavel Raja was all praise for director Hari and his style of filmmaking during the press meet.
Si3 has two female leads in Anushka Shetty and Shruthi Haasan. Bollywood actor Anoop Thakur Singh is playing the baddie in this movie. Radhika Sarathkumar, Robo Shankar, Soori, Vijayakumar, Radha Ravi, Chaams, Krish and many others has played supporting characters.
Harris Jayaraj has composed the song while Priyan has handled the cinematography. The movie is together funded by Studio Green, Pen Movies, Aadnah Arts.
