Suriya’s ‘Kanguva’ Gears Up for Historic Release Across 10,000+ Screens Worldwide
Suriya’s upcoming period fantasy film Kanguva is set to achieve a groundbreaking release, targeting over 10,000 screens globally when it hits theaters on November 14. In a recent press event in Bengaluru, producer G. Dhananjeyan shared that the film is on course to secure an unprecedented distribution, marking the largest release in Suriya’s career.
With over 700 screens confirmed in Tamil Nadu alone, South India will see the film debut on more than 2,500 screens, while the Northern regions will contribute nearly 3,500 screens to the grand release.
Directed by Siruthai Siva, Kanguva is expected to immerse audiences with its expansive storyline and stunning visuals, offering both 2D and 3D viewing options in multiple languages. Suriya takes on dual roles in the film, portraying both Kanguva and Francis Theodore, alongside a diverse cast including Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, and Jagapathi Babu.
With Studio Green and UV Creations backing the project, Kanguva showcases the talents of cinematographer Vetri Palanisamy, editor Nishadh Yusuf, and composer Devi Sri Prasad. The massive scale of the release reflects the team’s confidence in delivering a cinematic experience that will resonate with audiences worldwide.
