Trailer of Mammootty’s Yatra to be launched by KGF star Yash
Mammootty’s Telugu film ‘Yatra’ is all set to hit screens February 8. As per reports, the movie will be released in three languages – Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil – simultaneously. Malayalam version of the trailer will be released by Kannada superstar Yash, who recently became a sensation with ‘KGF’. The trailer will be out tomorrow (February 4).
‘Yatra’, written and directed by Mahi V Raghav is based on the late Andhra Pradeesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy aka YSR.
It is event based film which primarily focuses on the time during YSR’s famous three-month-long padayatra in 2003, which was a changing point in his political career. YSR is a highly respected politician; so fans, critics and cinephiles are eagerly waiting to see how Mammootty plays the role of the iconic leader.
Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devi Reddy are jointly producing the movie under the banner of 70MM Entertainments. The makers have planned the USA premiere on February 7. The movie is getting ready as the biggest ever release in Mammootty’s career. Kerala distribution rights of the movie’s Malayalam version has been bagged by the leading banner, Global United Media, who have earlier released blockbuster films like ‘Baahubali’, ‘KGF’, ‘The Jungle Book’ and ‘Mersal’.
