Trance will be an absolute treat for the Malayali audience: Resul Pookutty
Academy award winner Resul Pookutty’s maiden film as an actor, ‘The Sound Story’ hit screens recently. As part of its promotion, Pookutty had an interaction recently with Cube, an online media group, in which he revealed interesting tidbits about ‘Trance’, the upcoming Malayalam movie he is working on. The Fahadh Fassil starrer directed by Anwar Rasheed has been in the making for nearly two years now and is eagerly awaited.
Resul Pookutty has pinned high hopes on the movie and he promised that it will undoubtedly be a treat for the native audience. He is quoted saying, “Trance is a very ambitious film. It’s a larger than life film that reflects several realities happening around us. Third schedule shoot is currently progressing. We’ve put in lot of efforts for its making and I’m sure it will be a treat for the Malayali audience.”
The makers of ‘Trance’ have revealed very less details about the movie, which includes its genre. Naturally, it has piqued the audience’s curiosity. Debutant Vincent Vadakkan has scripted the movie. Along with Fahadh, the movie also has a solid cast comprising of Nazriya Nazim, Soubin Shahir, Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinayakan, Dileesh Pothan, Arjun Ashokan and Sreenath Bhasi.
Amal Neerad cranks the camera and Jackson Vijayan is in charge of the music department. Director Anwar Rasheed himself is producing ‘Trance’ under his own banner Anwar Rasheed Entertainment. It is said to be the most expensive film in Fahadh’s career. It is said that the makers are planning to release the movie for this year’s Onam in September.
