Uyare becomes the first ever Malayalam movie to release in South Korea
Parvathy starrer ‘Uyare’ continues to soar new heights. After garnering unanimously positive response from Malayalam movie lovers, the movie is now set to conquer foreign audience as well. ‘Uyare’ is set to be released in South Korea on May 19 through Indywood Distribution Network. Remarkably, it is the first Malayalam movie to have a South Korean release.
‘Uyare’ is directed by Manu Ashokan and scripted by Bobby-Sanjay. It tells the inspiring story of an acid attack survivor. Ever since its release on April 26, the movie has been getting words of appreciation from all corners. Besides critics and common audience, even celebrities like Sathyan Anthikad, Madhupal, Jude Anthany Joseph, Anjali Menon, Arun Gopy, Sithara Krishnakumar, Rosshan Andrrews and politicians VM Sudheeran and KK Shailaja had praised the movie.
‘Uyare’ was also recently screened at the International Children’s Film Festival of Kerala. The State government had also organized a special screening of ‘Uyare’ for children in government homes.
