Vijay Sethupathi adopts two white tigers from Chennai zoo!
Vijay Sethupathi, fondly called as Makkal Selvan, has always been on the forefront when it comes to welfare activities. Recently, the actor donated two white tigers Aarthi and Aditya from Arignar Anna Zoological park in Chennai. He visited the zoo and handed over a cheque worth Rs 5 lakh to the authorities for welfare of the animals. Interestingly, Vijay Sethupathi is not the first actor from Tamil industry to adopt a white tiger. Last year, Siva Karthikeyan had also adopted a white tiger named Anu.
On the work front, Vijay Sethupathi has several films in his kitty. He was last seen shooting for ‘Maamanithan’, directed by his mentor Seenu Ramasamy. The actor is set to make his Malayalam debut this year with ‘Marconi Mathai’, in which he will be playing one of the leads alongside Jayaram. Two of his films – ‘Sindhubaadh’ and ‘Super Deluxe’ are gearing up for release. Besides that, he has also committed for films with directors Vijay Chander, SP Jananathan, Venkata Krishna Roganth, Prabhu and Delhiprasad Deenadayal.
