Vijay Sethupathi to team up with director Cheran!
Vijay Sethupathi is busy signing back to back projects. After a highly successful 2018, the actor has a very busy season with a bunch of projects coming up. If reports are to be believed, he has signed for one more. The actor is set to team up with National award winning director Cheran for a new film. The two have been in talks for sometime now and it finally seems like things have fallen in place. An official announcement is expected to be made very shortly.
Cheran, a four time National award winner, is well known for his films like ‘Autograph’, ‘Pandavar Bhoomi’ and ‘Thavamai Thavamirundhu’. He last directed the movie ‘JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai’ in 2015. When Vijay Sethupathi teams up with such a highly revered filmmaker like Cheran, audience will surely be expecting a quality film.
Vijay Sethupathi is currently working on director Arun Kumar’s new film. He has also signed for films with directors Seenu Ramasamy and Vijay Chander. Apart from that, he has also committed for his debut Malayalam film with director Sanil Kalathil. He will be playing one of the leads in the movie alongside Jayaram.
‘Seethakaathi’, directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan, is Vijay Sethupathi’s next to hit screens. The movie is scheduled for release on December 20. ‘Petta’, in which he plays Rajinikanth’s villain is gearing up for a Pongal release in January.
