Vijay Sethupathi to play a musician in his next
Vijay Sethupathi’s penchant for trying a variety roles of continues. In his next film with debutant director Venkata Krishna Roganth, the actor will be seen playing the role of a musician. As per trustworthy reports, the movie will be set in the backdrop of Christmas and New Year celebrations and will focus on an international issue. Music plays a major role in the movie, so the makers have signed talented young composer Nivas K Prasanna. Chandra Arts is producing the movie which will be commencing in March. Munnar, Kodaikanal and Ooty are the major locations.
Vijay Sethupathi has a handful of films coming up and most of them are highly promising. Recently, on his birthday, the title and first look poster of his new movie was released. Titled as ‘Sindhubaadh’, the movie is directed by SU Arun Kumar, who has previously helmed ‘Pannaiyarum Padminiyum’ and ‘Sethupathi’, both starring Vijay Sethupathi. The actor’s next release will be the long awaited ‘Super Deluxe’, directed by Thiagaraja Kumararaja of ‘Aaranya Kaandam’ fame.
Vijay Sethupathi is currently shooting for ‘Maamanithan’, directed by his mentor Seenu Ramasamy’s. He is also making his Malayalam debut this year with ‘Marconi Mathai’ directed by Sanil Kalathil. He will be playing one of the leads in the movie alongside Jayaram.
