Vijay’s Bigil to release in around 4200 screens worldwide
As we get closer to the much-anticipated release date of ‘Bigil’, the excitement among fans is escalating to new heights. To answer their queries, creative producer Archana Kalpathi of AGS Cinemas came live just a while back in her social media handle. She assured that the film will have a very smooth release without any sort of delay that Vijay films usually face at the last moment.
According to her, ‘Bigil’ will be releasing in a total of around 4000-4200 screens worldwide. Bookings in Tamil Nadu are already on in full swing and like always there is a huge demand for the tickets. In Karnataka, the film will release in close to 400 theaters. Though the film does not have a Hindi dubbed version, the original Tamil version will be releasing in over 200 screens in North India with English subtitles.
In Kerala, due to the restriction enforced for non-Malayalam films, ‘Bigil’ will have around only 200 screens as opposed to the usual 400+ centres. However, Vijay’s massive fan base in the state are ensuring that the film gets a humongous opening. As of now, 73 shows have been charted on the opening day in Trivandrum city alone, and most of the shows are already full.
