Viswasam: Here’s a new still featuring Ajith and Nayanthara
Thala Ajith’s Viswasam is gearing up for a grand Pongal release, coming January. The movie touted to be a rural mass entertainer has marks Ajith’s fourth outing with Siva after Veeram, Vedhalam and Vivegam. While Veeram and Vedhalam were regular mass entertainers, Vivegam was an ambitious attempt in making a spy-thriller. The movie made on a lavish budget with a big star cast failed to impress the audience and bombed at the box office. With Viswasam, the duo is back with a typical rural mass entertainer.

Viswasam has Nayanthara paired with Ajith. This is their fourth film together after working in Billa, Aegan and Arrambam. The actress is reportedly playing a doctor’s role in the film. A new still featuring the lead pair has been leaked online. From the photo it looks like they are playing a married couple.

Viswasam’s cast also includes Yogi Babu, Vivek, Jagapathi Babu, Ravia Wana, Anikha, Thambi Ramaiah, Bose Venkat, Robo Shankar and Kovai Sarala. The technical crew includes DOP Vetri, music director D Imman, stunt choreographer Dilip Subbarayan and editor Ruben. Sathya Jyothi Films is funding the movie. An official announcement regarding the release date will be made only after the censor board clearance.
