Women and Child Development Department organize a special screening of Uyare
Parvathy starrer ‘Uyare’ is the current talk in M-Town. The movie is garnering unanimously positive response from all corners. Recently, Kerala State Minister KK Shailaja after watching the movie had informed that she is planning to organize a special screening of the movie for children in government homes. And as promised, the screening was held last day in Kairali theatre, Trivandrum. Along with the kids, the special show was also attended by social justice secretary Biju Prabhakar, actress Parvathy and producers Shenuga, Shegna and Sherga of S Cube Films.
‘Uyare’ is directed by Manu Ashokan and scripted by Bobby-Sanjay. Parvathy, Asif Ali and Tovino play major roles in the movie. The film, which tells the story of an acid attack survivor has won hearts of commoners, critics and celebrities alike. The makers have addressed various issues like beauty misconceptions,toxic relationships and patriarchy. It is an ideally empowering film with plenty of emotions and excellent performances.
