Later in 2005, the character came again in the film Bharath Chandran IPS directed this time by the creator of that character, Mr. Renji Panicker. It again rocked the box office giving a perfect comeback for Suresh Gopi. The character came once again in 2011 in the film named The King and The Commissioner but this failed miserably to say the least. This time it was from the same team that created the 1994 film. It was the character played by Mammootty in the film named Aavanazhi directed by I V Sasi and written by T Damodaran. It was released in 1986 and was a super success.
