Trailer music of Dulquer Salmaan starrer Kali movie landed in controversy
The much awaited trailer of Sameer Thahir-Dulquer Salmaan film Kali had released yesterday and got fantastic reception all over social media. It had already got great YouTube views and likes as well beating Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Darwinte Parinamam trailer views and likes within hours. But now the trailer of Kali had landed in a controversy regarding the background music used in the trailer. It was tuned by none other than Gopi Sunder and the social Media began to troll him saying that the music was copied from an English film named The Man From U.N.C.L.E (2015).
The two songs from the film Kali had already got out and one of them had got good response as well. Harinarayan BK had penned down the lyrics for the songs composed by Gopi Sunder for this film. Gopi Sundar had earlier also accused of copying music from other languages, specially foreign languages. This time he is feeling the heat because the trolls of social media is spreading rapidly.
Kali is scripted by Rajesh Gopinath and DOP was Gireesh Gangadharan. It is made as a Romantic action thriller with family sentiments in it as well as per reports. Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead of the film and it is her second film after the success of her first one named Premam. The film will reach to the screens on March 26 and it is produced by director Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid and Ashiq Usman under the banner of Hand Made Films.
