Akale: Check out this new song from Manoharam
Vineeth Sreenivasan’s latest release, ‘Manoharam’ continues to do well in theatres. The common audience, especially the families seem to have taken a liking to the film. The Anvar Sadik directorial is a feel good flick that appeals to audience of all age groups. As the film continues its good run, the makers have released a new song online. The track titled ‘Akale’ is rendered by South Indian cinema’s most wanted singer, Sid Sriram. Joe Paul has penned the lyrics and Sanjeev Thomas has composed the track.
‘Manoharam’ is basically a feel-good entertainer set in the rural locales of Palakkad. It is the story of Manu, a talented painting artist who fails to update himself according to the modern needs. Manu’ attempts to learn photoshop and start a flex printing shop in his village is what is told in this inspiring story. Director Anvar Sadik, who has also scripted the film, has done really well in packaging the film as a fine entertainer.
‘Manoharam’ has a good set of supporting actors. ‘Njan Prakashan’ fame Aparna Das plays the female lead. Indrans, Basil Joseph, Deepak Parambol, Hareesh Peradi, Kalaranjini, Sreelekshmi, Jude Anthany Joseph, Ahmed Siddique, Nisthar Sait, VK Prakash, Delhi Ganesh and Nandini are part of the cast. The film is being produced by Jos Chakkalakal of Chakkalakal Films and AK Sunil of New Surya Films.
