Baburaj’s Black Coffee promises to be a fun flick; Watch teaser here!
Actor Baburaj is directing a new film titled ‘Black Coffee’, which is a spin-off of the 2011 hit film ‘Salt N Pepper’. The film has him reprising his popular role of cook Babu from the original. The story evolves after Babu, moves out of Kalidas’ home after the latter gets married to Maya. Lal and Shweta Menon appear in brief roles, reprising the characters of Kalidas and Maya, respectively. Asif Ali will also be seen in a guest appearance, reprising his character Manu Raghav from ‘Salt N Pepper’.
In ‘Black Coffee’, Baburaj’s character works as a cook at a house where four women stay together. Oviya, Lena, Rachana and Orma will be seen as the roommates. Sunny Wayne plays the role of an aspiring filmmaker, named Davis. Oviya will be seen as his romantic interest. She essays the role of an American Malayali who lands in Kochi to make it big in the world of cinema.
From the teaser, the film looks like a fun entertainer. Sajeesh Manjeri is producing it. Release plans have not yet been announced.
