Here’s a new teaser of Kayamkulam Kochunni
After months of waiting, Rosshan Andrrews’ period flick Kayamkulam Kochunni is finally hitting screens on October 11. As the release date is nearing, the makers have released a new teaser in social medias. Nivin Pauly plays Kochunni’s role in this movie while Mohanlal is there in an extended cameo role as Ithikkara Pakki. The two actors are coming together for the first time, and fans are highly excited about it.
Kayamkulam Kochunni was initially slated for release during the Onam season but had to be postponed due to the floods. The new release date, October 11, also happens to be the birthday of lead actor Nivin Pauly. This is by far the biggest project in the actor’s career and releasing it on his birthday makes it even more special for him and his fans.
Made on a huge budget of Rs 45 crores, Kayakulam Kochunni is one of the most expensive movies ever made in Malayalam cinema. Gokulam Gopalan has produced the movie under his banner Sri Gokulam Films. The makers are planning to grab more than 300 screens in Kerala alone. They have already acquired license for six shows on opening day, which starts with the first show from morning 7 AM.
