Madhumathiye song from Sakhavu released
Nivin Pauly’s highly anticipated political drama Sakhavu is gearing up for release. The movie is all set to hit screens all over Kerala on April 14, Vishu day. Sakhavu is directed by National award winner Sidhartha Siva. Nivin Pauly is playing a dual role in the movie.
A video song from the movie was released today. The track ‘Madhumathiye’ is rendered by Sreekumar Vakkiyil and Preeti Pillai. Prashanth Pillai has composed the song for Shabareesh Varma’s lyrics.
It is a refreshing track featuring Nivin Pauly and Kollywood actress Aishwarya Rajesh. It is the 80s timeline and showcases the their married life. Towards the end of the song we see the old Aishwarya and the bearded Nivin Pauly as Krishnakumar. The last shot has certainly piqued the curiosity of the audience.
Earlier we had informed that Sakhavu will not be just another political drama, it will have equal doses of humour, romance, and machismo. And the song once again proves the same.
Aparna Gopinath and Gayathri Suresh Rajesh will also be seen in major roles. Sreenivasan, Maniyan Pillai Raju, Joju George, Sudheesh, Althaf, Santhosh Keezhattoor and many others are also part of the cast.
Acclaimed Kollywood cinematographer George C Williams has cranked the camera in Sakhavu. The movie is funded by B Rakesh under the banner Universal Cinema.
