Mele Mele: Here’s the first song from Padayottam
Biju Menon’s Padayottam is gearing up to hit screens this month. The movie directed by debutant Rafeek Ibrahim is publicised as a serious comedy. First song from the movie was released today in social medias. The song titled Mele Mele is sung by Antony Tharakan and composed by Prashanth Pillai. BK Harinarayan has penned the lyrics.
Earlier, the fun filled trailer of Padayottam had garnered great response from viewers in social medias. The movie has Biju Menon playing the role of Chenkal Raju, a pucca-gangster based in the Chenkal Choola region in Trivandrum. The actor is seen sporting a rugged mass look in the movie. Padayottam has a huge supporting cast which includes Dileesh Pothan, Saiju Kurup, Anu Sithara, Lijo Jose Pellissery, Basil Joseph, Sudhi Koppa and Harish Kanaran.
Padayottam is scripted jointly by newcomers Arun AR and Ajai Rahul. According to the makers, the movie is a serious-comedy on the lines of Delhi Belly and Jigarthanda. Satheesh Kurup is the cinematographer and Prashanth Pillai is handling the music department. Sophia Paul is producing the movie under the banner of Weekend Blockbusters.
