Pudhu Metro Rail: Here’s a new song from Saamy Square
Vikram’s Saamy Square is gearing up to hit screens on September 21. The movie directed by Hari is the sequel of the superhit cop action thriller Saamy, which was released back in 2003. As the release date is nearing, the makers have released a new song video from the movie. The song titled ‘Pudhu Metro Rail’ is the quintessential foreign song that is seen in all Hari films. Interestingly, the song is rendered by lead actors Vikram and Keerthy Suresh. Composer Devi Sri Prasad has also penned the lyrics.
Like the first part, Saamy Square is also expected to be a mass entertainer. From the promos, the movie looks like an usual Hari film with the tried and tested mass masala formula. Vikram is said to be playing a dual role in the movie, as as Aarusaamy and his son, who is also a cop.
Keerthy Suresh and Aishwarya Rajesh play the two female leads. National award winner Bobby Simha is the antagonist. Prabhu, Delhi Ganesh, John Vijay, Soori and Imman Annachi are also part of the movie’s supporting cast. Shibu Thameens, who also produced Vikram’s Irumugan, is funding Saamy Square under the banner of Thameens Films.
