As informed earlier by the makers, the official trailer of ‘Karwaan’ has been released today in social medias. Dulquer Salmaan is making his Bollywood debut with this movie which has him co-starring with the ace Irrfan Khan and internet sensation Mithila Palkar. From the trailer, the movie looks like a road-fun revolving around the three lead characters’ journey from Banglore to Kochi.

Noted actor/theatre personality Akarsh Khurana is directing this movie and its story is penned by noted filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar. According to the makers, Karwaan is a light hearted movie which traces the story of three friends who are on a journey. The characters of Irrfan Khan, Mithila Palkar and Dulquer are from different walks of life who come together at one juncture of their lives. It is a slice of life kind movie with prominence to realistic humour.

Director Akarsh Khurana, who has previously scripted movies like Humshakals and Krrish 3, has co-written Karwaan’s screenplay with Adhir Bhatt. Hussain Dalal, the dialogue writer of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and 2 States, has written the dialogues for this movie as well.

Ronnie Screwvala is funding Karwaan under the banner of RSVP Films in association with Ishka Films. The movie is all set to hit screens on August 3.
