Suriya plays the role of Nanda Gopala Kumaran, a small time politician who makes his way up to become an MLA. The movie promises to bring back the terrific actor, who has been in lackluster form of late. The teaser was highly intriguing and promised to showcase an unseen side of Suriya, the actor.
