Mollywood is now witnessing a new controversy and it is opened up by none other than popular Mollywood actress and the sweetheart of Malayali audience, Bhavana. Bhavana is not at all active in Mollywood for the last few years and she says that it is because of an unofficial ban she is facing here in Mollywood and that too because of a prominent actor here pinning against her.
It was just like a rumor at first, that a super star is trying to make her career off track. Then heard that she was not active in Malayalam due to her other language projects. But now Bhavana herself opened up her mind on this issue and she said that what we believed as a rumor is a fact that a popular actor here is behind the ban kind of situation she is facing here in Mollywood.
She opened her mind about this in an interview to Deccan Chronicle recently. She said that once a friend of her comes to her and asked for her help related to her family issues. She felt that it is her duty to help her in this issue and she stood with that friend to solve her problems. In fact that created all the problems in her career and still she believes that she did the right think as her inner self told her stand by her decisions.
After that she noticed that many projects which at first came to her was going away from her and she understood that someone is deliberately doing that to her. But luckily most of those projects were failures at box office and that deliberate plan to make her career off track had become a blessing in disguise for her as she not have to be a part of flop films.
She says that she is doing only 2 films per year in Malayalam and that is going smoothly every year. She is only doing films which makes her satisfied and only with those directors who agrees to her demands. This year too she acted in two films and they are Ivide and Kohinoor. She also said that she is strict in her remuneration and she only acts in films which gave her the remuneration she wants. Two films are coming next year for her. One is Hello Namasthe with Mia and another is Adventures of Omana Kuttan with Asif Ali.
